Meeting of foreign ministers from the European Union (EU) Member States and Eastern Partnership countries took place in Tallinn, Estonia yesterday.

The non-formal discussion centred on practical steps for increasing resilience in cooperation between the EU and Eastern Partnership countries, particularly through strengthening security cooperation.

The talks also focused on plans for the fifth Eastern Partnership Summit that will take place in Brussels on 24 November.

The Eastern Partnership (EaP) is an initiative of the EU governing its relationship with the post-Soviet states of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, intended to provide an avenue for discussions of trade, economic strategy, travel agreements, and other issues between the EU and its Eastern European neighbours.
