EU raises financial help for Moldova till 619 million euros
The European Union raises the budget for Moldova and other countries form the Est Partnership. Thus, the sum for the 2018 year raised with 27 million euros, so the current sum is 619 million euros. The decision was voted with 414 votes for, 163 votes against and 90 didn't vote at all.
The EU wants to help the countries form the Est Partnership, to develop its economies, to help becoming more competitive and to strengthen its institutions. This way, the deputies from the European Parliament urged the authorities from Chisinau to make more efforts in the reforms realization.
Initially, the European Committee decided to raise the budget for 2018 with 48 million euros.
