Eugen Doga celebrates today his 81st birthday. The composer's house was filled today with guests who came to congratulate and wish him health. A group of children and teachers from Eugen Doga Music School have made a poem for the composer.
"So many beautiful pieces you have made for us, for our souls."
"Energetic, positive and full of life. We hope that you will continue to create masterpieces, as all of them are beautiful."
Minister of Education, Culture and Research has also paid a visit.
"Happy Birthday. For many years we know each other and you have not changed. Always young and happy" Monica Babuc said.
"May he remain in high spirits for many years to come, to continue creating beautiful works that all of use love and treasure" Monica Babuc declared.
Eugen Doga claims that the biggest gift for him is recognition. The composer will continue writing pieces and soothing people's souls.
"I have much left to do. There are still so many songs that I need to write. I also wish to manage it all for you as well of course" Eugen Doga said.
To celebrate the composer's birthday, trolleybuses from the Capital play today music made by Eugen Doga.
Citizens of the Capital were pleasantly surprised.
"Whenever I hear his compositions I remember years that have long passed. May he remain healthy for many years to come and gift us with masterpieces."

Eugen Doga was born in 1937, in Mocra village, Râbniţa district.
Two Waltzes by Eugen Doga are in the top 200 best classical works of all time.
He created three ballets "Luceafărul”, “Venancia”, “Queen Margot”, the opera “Dialogues of Love”, and music for 13 plays, radio shows, more than 200 movies, more than 260 songs and romances, more than 70 waltzes.
