Every third lawmaker has pedagogical studies or teaching experience
There are 36 members of Parliament in the 10th legislature have studied pedagogical sciences or have teaching experience.
Ten deputies are history teachers - Monica Babuc, Alexandru Slusari, Igor Grosu, Lilian Carp, Octavian Țîcu, Vladimir Bolea, Virgiliu Pâslariuc, Eduard Smirnov, Efrosinia Grețu and Ion Leucă.
There are three physical education teachers, coaches - Victor Bologan, Radu Rebeja and Gheorghii Para.
There are also two teachers of Romanian language and literature - Maria Ciobanu and Chiril Moțpan, a teacher of foreign languages (English and French) - Doina Gherman and a teacher of Gagauz language and literature - Ivanna Koksal.
At the same time, Svetlana Rotundu and Igor Vremea have the qualification of primary school teacher, and Elena Bacalu is a lecturer in pedagogy and preschool psychology.
In the current legislature of the Parliament there is also a professor of geography - Reghina Apostolova, a professor of work and professional training - Alexandr Usatii and a professor of theology - Ion Groza.
At the same time, there is a professor of sociology - Oleg Lipskii, a professor of political economy - Vladimir Golovatiuc, a professor of political science - Bogdan Țîrdea, a lecturer of socio-humanities - Veronica Roșca, a lecturer of economic sciences - Petru Burduja and a lecturer in agricultural sciences - Mihail Paciu.
16 deputies have the scientific title of doctor. Two lawmakers are doctors in pedagogical sciences - Victor Bologan and Gheorghii Para. Three other deputies are doctors of historical sciences - Eduard Smirnov, Octavian Țîcu and Virgiliu Pâslariuc. The deputies Igor Vremea, Adrian Lebedinschi and Igor Munteanu hold the scientific title of doctor of law.
Three parliamentarians are also doctors of economics: Vladimir Golovatiuc, Eleonora Graur and Alla Darovannaia.
In the Parliament of the 10th legislature, Bogdan Țîrdea, doctor of political sciences, Chiril Tatarlî and Mihail Paciu, doctor of agricultural sciences, Violeta Ivanov, doctor of geonomic sciences and Ștefan Gațcan, doctor of medicine, carry out their activity.
The PSRM faction has 14 deputies with pedagogical studies or who have teaching experience, PAS Fraction - 7, PDM Fraction - 5, Platform Fraction DA - 4, PRO MOLDOVA Parliamentary Group - 3, ȘOR Party Fraction - 2 and an unaffiliated deputy.
Teacher's Day and World Education Day are marked in Moldova today.
