Ex-administrators of Social Bank, Economy Bank and Unibank targeted in criminal files

Former administrators and debtors of the Social Bank, Banca de Economii (Economy Bank) and Unibank are targeted in criminal cases. Besides, the special administrators and the liquidators of the financial institutions filed civil actions in the courts in order to recover the damage.
The explanations that no action was brought against the "Şor group" were made by the National Bank of Moldova, after information appeared in the press.
The NBM also states that, in several criminal cases, the three banks, which are in the process of liquidation, have been recognized as civilians. Similarly, the Central Bank requested further examination of the actions that may be taken to recover the damage.
