The citizens of a five levels block of flats  from Balti were evacuated, because of a gas leakage that could provoke an explosion.

The information was confirmed for Publika TV by Liliana Puscasu, the spokesman of the Emergency Situation Inspectorate.

The firemen established that in the basement of the building there were eight gas bottles. One of the bottles was defected. The bottles were left in the building by the block's managers who panned the repair works of the roof.

The police will identify the persons who put in danger the lives of the residents.
