FC Sheriff Tiraspol lost its main player to RC Lens

FC Sheriff Tiraspol lost one of its main players for the past few months. After he managed to score the goal that landed the team in the European League, Cyrille Bayala has transferred to RC Lens.
At the moment the team playing in the second league, having not scored even once in the past five games. While Bayala signed a 4 year contract with his new team.
"Unfortunately for FC Sheriff, this offer came at a time when there is no way for us to find a replace player for this position. At the wish of the player, after the offer came in two weeks ago, he was transferred" the team's manager, Leonid Istrati said.
While the official transfer cost was not disclosed, according to websites specializing in this field, Cyrille Bayala is appreciated at 550 thousand euros.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder, from Burkina-Faso, started playing for FC Sheriff back in 2016. In the last year he played at 38 matches and managed to score 11 goals for the Transnistrian team. He, along with Borussia Dortmund became the champion of Moldova, managing to win the Moldova's Cup.
Now FC Sheriff, lacking Bayala, is preparing for its next games in the European Leagues. "Viespile" will face F.C. Copenhagen, FC Lokomotiv Moscow and FC Fastav Zlín from Czech Republic.
