National Division: Speranţa Nisporeni defeated 1-2 by Sheriff Tiraspol
Speranţa Nisporeni was defeated 1-2 by Sheriff Tiraspol in the ninth round of National Football Division.
Two goals were scored in the first 24 minutes by Belgian Ziguy Badibanga şi Vitalie Damaşcan.
At the second goal the hosts claimed a foul in attacking Valentin Furdui. The host's Sergiu Plătică did some good work in the game after minute 45.
In the second half the hosts were desperately seeking the draw and the best opportunity was missed by the same leader.
Nisporeni group coach Cristian Efros, who came to the press conference with his two-year-old son, believed his team did not deserve to lose the Tiraspol.
"This was the game we could have deserved more, but yes, we were not disciplined. Football match punishes you if you are not disciplined and focused, that's the game. The game was decided in some simple moments, "said Cristian Efros, Coach Speranta Nisporeni.
"Unfortunately, we made individual mistakes in the defensive phase and we were charged, but the team played with enthusiasm and created many opportunities to score in both halves. We could have scored the third goal too, "said coach Sheriff Tiraspol , Roberto Borodin.
Sheriff is the leader of the 23-point leaderboard after 9 rounds.
On September 14, the Tiraspol players will play the first match of the League of Europe with the Czech team Fastav Zlin. The game will be broadcast live on Channel 3 Thursday at 20.00
In another match, Milsami Orhei defeated the 2-0 Spicul Chişcăreni on home field. Nigerian Yero Bello and Romeo Surdu scored the goals of "Red Eagles".
