The Filip government has left billions of dollars in budget, enough for pensions and salaries, but the new authorities will ask for money from foreign partners anyway.
Finance Minister Natalia Gavriliţa says there would be a financial hole of four billion lei, while the former executive left three billion 270 million lei in the state budget but also all the salaries, pensions and allowances paid up to the month May.
"This financial hole can be estimated to more than 4 billion lei. We are very glad that we can include the assistance from the EU in the field of income, we will make some adjustments and we will transfer resources from the budget We plan to transfer more than 1 billion lei, and we will ensure that wage costs will be secured, "said Natalia Gavriliţa, Minister of Finance.
According to the former Prime Minister, in the first half of the year, the state budget revenues managed by the State Tax Service increased by 1 billion lei and represent almost 20 billion and the Customs Service with almost 700 million lei. Pavel Filip specified that before the salaries of public employees increased, the government approved the state budget and ensured that there was enough money to do so.
"We did not approve until we have made sure that there are financial reserves to deal with all wage payments. Instead of coming with all the de-oligarchization, with all the laws that they have approved so far, the first project was supposed to come with the rectification of the budget in the parliament, and I suspect that it intentionally delays, "said Pavel Filip, deputy PDM.
According to the State Tax Service, in the half a year, in the state budget they reached 19.2 billion lei. The amount is 975 million more than the same period last year.
