Today is the last day when parties or independent candidates can apply to run for Mayor. So far, 11 people have submitted their documents, out of which the Electoral Commission registered 8.

Among them counts Ion Ceban from PSRM, Liberal Valeriu Munteanu, leader of DA Party, Andrei Năstase, as well as Reghina Apostolova from Șor Party.

Yesterday, interim Mayor of the Capital Silvia Radu has also applied as an independent candidate.

While at the Electoral Commission from Bălți have registered so far two candidates, Arina Spătaru of DA Party and Socialist Alexandr Usatîi.

Documents were also submitted by candidate from Şor Party, from National Unity Party, as well as from Our Party. Another two independent candidates announced their intentions to run for Mayor.
