FINALLY! Moldovan police may have own DNA detection lab
The Moldovan police are going to have their own genetics laboratory to establish the DNA of people suspected of crimes. The Interior Ministry has put up a draft law to be envisaged by the Cabinet.
"When we’re able to collect biological samples from whereabouts, the probability of uncovering felonies will be much more enhanced," said deputy minister of Internal Affairs Dorin Purice.
The bill implies an investment of EUR3.5 million, which are still to be identified.
