Fingers crossed! Two Moldovan weightlifters enter the competiton at Olympics in Rio
Today, two Moldovan sportives will enter the contest at the Olympic Games. Natalia Prişcepa and Dimitriana Surdu are the weightlifters that will participate in throwing weight.
Dimitriana Surdu will begin qualification development and Prişcepa will fight for the medal in up to 75kg category.
Tomorrow Zalina and Marina Marghiev sisters will attend the Olympics. They will compete in the hammer throw.
Weightlifter Alexandru Spac so far recorded the best result among all Moldovan atheles that evolved at Olympics.
The weighlifter from Balti town was ranked 5th in the up to 77kg category.
In total Moldova is represented by 23 athletes in the Brazil competition.
