Customs officers have managed to prevent a smuggling attempt of a Kandar B3-3 ( 5.5 mm caliber).

The firearm was found in the luggage of a  27-year-old resident of Florești, who was on board of a bus going Czech Republic- Republic of Moldova. Officers have also found him in possession of 250 metal balls that were also seized.

The gun and balls were taken away and given to proper authorities for a forensic expertise, while the suspect will receive an up to 4 500 lei fine.
