First European Christmas Fair to open today in Chisinau (Photo)
First European Christmas Fair organized by Government from Chisinau will open today, starting 18:00 local time.
Visitor will be able to enjoy five amusement zones. Citizens will have the chance to take pictures near the Christmas Tree brought from Carpathian Mountains, gifted by the Government from Bucharest. For children, a carousel was installed, having 70 places and brought from Kiev.
While those who enjoy a bid of adrenaline will have the chance to go up on the biggest open air ice skating rink from Moldova. Organizers have also created a fairy tale zone, where children will have the chance to meet Santa Claus.
To inform citizens, who are returning to Moldova for holidays, of what surprises they can expect, border police from Chisinau International Airport are offering brochures for all travelers.
"During the border control, each passengers receives a brochure regarding the Christmas Fair" border officer, Maria Mîţă mentioned.
People cannot wait to visit the Christmas Fair:

"We will go with the whole family to have fun, to see how holidays are spent in Moldova."

The Fair "Spent Christmas Home" will take place on 31 august St. from the Capital and will be open daily, until 14th January.
