The first family has brought today a home through the First House project.

Finance Minister Octavian Armașu declared that they chose by themselves their own house and bank, nobody suggesting them certain construction companies. 

"Today we are happy to announce that the fist family gained a First House mortgage loan. The first family that managed to purchase their own house after applying to the program. We are happy for them, congratulations on gaining your own home. We hope people will build a future in Moldova. When this project was first launched, our main target were young people, for them to be able to purchase a house. This family chose its own house, its own bank and nobody urged them to use a certain construction company. The state wishes to support them. I think it is a great beginning.

The state budget allocated for this program one billion lei. Out of them, 50 million lei is preserved for eventual situations. We calculated a 5% risk. I wish to say that in Romania, where this project exists since 2009, the risk is under 2%. I believe we will also reach this number" Finance Minister Octavian Armașu said.

PUBLIKA.MD reminds that since March 26 2018, young people can submit documents at banks and apply for the First House project. The program is accessible and is meant to assist young people.
