On the occasion of the professional day of the judicial expert, the National Center for Judicial Expertise (CNEJ), subordinated to the Ministry of Justice, gathered over 55 judicial experts from Moldova, Romania, Ukraine and Italy.

At the event, several authors presented their wide-ranging research and discussed the scientific arguments of the reports and the current issues in the field. 

The CNEJ and the National Institute of Forensic Expertise (INEC) in Romania signed a collaborative agreement on the implementation of joint projects, the organization of mutual experiments and the development of judicial expertise.

In this context, Anatolie Munteanu, State Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice, encouraged the CNEJ "to continue its efforts to join as a full member of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes. Through the continuity of cooperation, I hope to receive the assistance of INEC and Ukrainian partners in this direction. "

The experts shared their professional experience by bringing scientific arguments to the research methods used in the various experiments such as the psychological expertise of moral prejudice, the regime of documents submitted for examination in the copy, the forensic examination of firearms, the main and secondary traces of the shooting, the accounting expertise, in legal medicine, analytical methods in toxicology. Analyzes and research findings are published in the special edition of the recently published Law and Life magazine.

Also, at the conference were discussed the attributions of the private judicial experts, the correlation of the provisions of legislation in the field of expertise with the scientific criteria, the innovative research methods. As a sign of gratitude for cooperation and exchange of experience, CNEJ awarded diplomas for the efforts made to the guests.
