First spring day felt by whole country. People gave each other Mărţişor
Regardless of the cold from the outside, the first spring day was felt. The Capital was abounded by Martisoare and the white and read colors made the day. Anyway, the salesmen say that they had only a few costumers.
"From year to year, we have fewer and fewer costumers. Many of the costumers by Martisor to give it to somebody, not to wear it."
"This is the cheapest and costs three lei. There are also of 5, 10, 15, 20 lei."
People who came to buy Martisor say they want to maintain the tradition.
"I have bought Martisor for my colleagues, relatives, for my mother and children."
"This is a very beautiful symbol and a good tradition. We wear Martisor a whole month and then, we put it on a three."
People who had the flight to Republic of Moldova received Martisor at the Chisinau International Airport.
"This is a very good idea."
The present surprised the foreign citizens.
"I don't know what is this. I don't know how to wear it."
The Parliament also congratulated each other with the first spring day.
"I want to wish you to have peace, more peace in the soul and of course to have the spring in our souls and more productive and serious relationship in the plenary of the Parliament", said Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament.
The democratic women of Capital decided to surprise an asylum of old.
The elderly enjoyed a concert of the pupils from Mihai Viteazu Lyceum.
"I am very glad, I received a Martisor."
"It is very important to make these people smile", said Ruxanda Glavan, the President of Women organization of PDM within Center sector.
Martisor is considered to mark the beginning of the spring and was included in UNESCO patrimony.
