The Moldovan police have caught a man who transported 50 kg of salted fish from the Transnistrian area alleged to Chisinau.

As he could not produce any financial documents referring to his goods, the police confiscated it. The smuggled fish is worth about $1,000.

The suspect faces a fine of $150.
