No Moldovans in Italy were infected with coronavirus, according to the Moldovan Foreign Affairs Ministry. MAEIE urges the Moldovan citizens in Italy to strictly follow the recommendations of the Italian authorities on this subject.

"The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Rome, together with the Consulate General of Milan and the Consulate of Padua, is in constant contact with the Italian authorities with responsibilities in managing the situation regarding coronavirus. So far, no notifications have been received from them regarding the existence of any citizen of the Republic of Moldova among the infected persons and no requests for consular assistance were received from the Moldovan citizens ", quoted the statement issued by the representatives of MAEIE.
