Reforming the security and defense sphere, combating new threats to security, and counteracting hybrid threats were the main topics discussed in Brussels by Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu and NATO Deputy Secretary-General Rose Gottemoeller.

According to the Chisinau diplomacy, the official of the North Atlantic Alliance confirmed NATO's support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, as well as respect for the country's neutrality state.
