Ruslanu Codreanu who wants to run for Chisinau Mayor in the local elections of October 20 reveals his supporters are intimidated. The supporters were signing for his candidacy. 

"They received threatening phone calls, they were threatened with the dismissal", said Ruslan Codreanu.

The candidate declined to let on the names who plotted these actions but called on a fair electoral campaign. 

Codreanu needs 12,000 signatures to register as a independent candidate. He previously was the acting mayor of Chisinau City Hall.
