Four Ministries sign agreement insuring welfare for every child
The Ministry of Family and Social Protection, the Education Ministry, the Health Ministry and the Interior Ministry have signed a cooperation agreement aiming at insure welfare for every child.
The accord is meant to join the efforts of the authorities dealing with the issue in order to prevent risks and insure children’s welfare.
"The international experience shows that in the countries where the children’s welfare is set as a national priority, the rapid intervention of specialists prevents the emergence or the worsening of risky situations," said Labor and Family Minister Stela Grigoraș.
"The kindergarten and then the school are the first milieus where the bases of the child’s development are laid," said Education Minister Corina Fusu.
Ruxanda Glavan, the Healthcare Minister, has spoken about the importance of early prevention: "Our actions related to the child’s welfare must be channeled from treatment/recuperation to prevention, applying a pro-active and responsible approach.”
"In the countries where insuring the welfare conditions for children is considered as a national priority, and the services represented by the signatory ministries cooperate and communicate, the specialists’ prompt intervention is capable of efficiently prevent the emergence or the aggravation of risky situation," said Interior Minister Alexandru Jizdan.
A pilot project, following the deal, will unfurl in the districts of Călărași, Fălești and Ungheni, and then it will be expanded nation-wide.
