Republic of Moldova's ambitions are being supported by the French Socialist Party. The declarations were made by the party's secretary, Maurice Braud. In his speech, the official also mentioned the need to regulate the Transnistrian conflict.

"Without a doubt it is difficult. But it does not mean that we must accept it, situations such as the occupation of Crimea, or the conflict in Transnistria. Solutions can be found through dialogue with Russian authorities" Maurice Braud declared.

Secretary of the French Socialist Party also spoke of Moldova's and Ukraine's rights to chose their own path. The congress was attended by delegations from multiple foreign parties, including Moldova. Marian Lupu and Vitalie Gamurari represented PDM.
