The infection hazard stays high in the Chişinău lakes. According to medical authorities, no lake matches the sanitary requirements.

Also the sand on beaches is perilous being infected with bacteria. Doctors urge people not to swim in unauthorized lakes. 

The water turned significantly worse especially after the April heavy snows.

Gynecologists insist the women must be especially careful since they are more liable to getting infections. The pregnant should not even think of going into water.

There are seven big lakes in Chișinău.
