The country's bakeries are in a rush to prepare pastry and cakes for Easter. Thus, the smell of sweet bread, cakes and chocolate filled all the bakeries.
Vladimir priest of Moldova stoke the biggest bakery from Chisinau with holy water.
When preparing the cakes and the sweet bread, they use two main ingredients.
"We put the dough in bowls and then in the oven. Before the Easter holidays we work without days off."
"We planned to make over 170 tones of products this year. We will bake cakes, sweet bread, chocolate and so on", said Boris Andros, director of a bakery.
All the bakeries in the country work very hard.
"This is the dough, its volume should raise three times before we put it in the oven", said Mariana Turcan, baker.
The bakers should be very careful.
Some stores already exhibit a vast range of Easter products.
The prices for the cakes vary between 8 and 300 lei.
