The roads from Criuleni village are under renovation works. The roads are repaired because of Good Roads for Moldova project. They started with the main street, 31 august 1989. People say they can't look forward the works to be finished.

The road is 2,5 km long and unites the center of the city with the most important institutions.

"We are installing the asphalt, we hope it will last a long time."

In a few days, the Orhei street will also be repaired. The costs of the works are worth six million lei. Both the drivers and the residents are glad they won't have to walk through holes anymore

"The roads are great."

The workers started to repair the road from Chetroasa village.

"Now, we prepare to repair the road", said Alexandru Munteanu, worker of S.A Criuleni.

"I am very glad that we will have better roads."

Also, Pascani village was already repaired.

"We repaired the road that connects Chisinau and Orhei and passes through Chetroasa."

Totally, in Criuleni district the roads from 34 villages should be repaired.

"Within the Good roads for Moldova project, there were allocated 47 million lei", said Veaceslav Burlac, the president of Criuleni district.

The Good roads for Moldova program was initiated by Vlad Plahotniuc, the PDM leader and targets to repair 1 200 kilometers of road from Moldova. Totally, 1,6 billion lei there were invested by the Road Fund and the State Budget.
