Government approves agreement between Moldova and Belarus on facilitation of trade

Agreement between Moldovan Government and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on facilitating mutual trade system has been approved at a cabinet meeting today, February 1st.
The document provides the development of bilateral dialogue and a positive impact on boosting trade balance.
The Agreement provides for intensification of cooperation between the customs authorities of both countries in order to simplify customs procedures, increase the efficiency of customs control and customs clearance time reduction of border crossings.
However, the new act also stipulates the exchange of information on the movement of goods and means of transport.
The agreement on the facilitation of mutual trade was signed in Chisinau at the end of 2016.
