The Executive has approved two decisions on amending some government decisions, through which were increased several types of scholarships for students.

According to the amendments, are increased performance scholarships for students from arts-profile republican boarding schools and for pupils from 4 to 9 form of the National Choreography College.

Thus, performance scholarships will be from 305 to 440 lei and special scholarship will be 460 lei. Recalculation of scholarships is recalculated starting with 1 March 2016.

Also today was approved the amendment and completion of the Government Decision which foresees the establishment of Scholarships for pupils and students in higher technical and vocational education and scholarships the approval of differentiated scholarships on the basis of results, for secondary technical vocational education students.

The amount of such scholarships will be increased to 460 lei.

Today, their amount is 330 lei.

These financial means are foreseen in the State Budget Law for 2016.
