Government to approve initiation of negotiations with France on Moldovan citizens living there
Moldovans who live in France and want to return home could benefit from support from the authorities. Today, the government is expected to approve initiation of negotiations of an agreement between the two countries that will allow citizens reintegration in Moldova.
More exactly, our countrymen in France will receive aid for reintegration into society, to find a job or to start a business.
However, one study shows that most of the citizens living abroad would return to Moldova if they would receive support here.
Moreover, such an agreement would boost the return of young Moldovans who study in the EU and their integration into the workforce.
The agreement is to be concluded between the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family and the French Office for Immigration and Integration.
