A great number of victims of road pedestrian accidents are children, according to police data. 

Over 900 road accident resulting in personal injury were registered in Moldova in 2019. Half of them were pedestrian accidents.

Police also said a great number of pedestrians cross the road irregularly while 117 children are the victims of pedestrian accidents.
