Several localities in north of Moldova were affected by heavy rains of August 24th. The hail has affected about 155 hectares of orchads in Cunicea village, Floresti district. 

The roads have been damaged in Zăluceni, Tirgul and Vertiujeni village. Over 6 km of local road was affected in Barvicea town, Calarasi district, and many private households were mired.

The wind damaged the roof of a garage and water flooded five households in Slobozia village Vărăncău district.

Emergency Commission is working on the ground to estimate the material damage recorded.
