The head of the Public Transport and Communications Directorate of the Capital, Vitalie Butucel has resigned. A provision in this regard was signed by the Interim Mayor of Chisinau, Ruslan Codreanu.
Vitalie Butucel specified in his resignation that he is leaving for personal reasons. For now, he did not answer the phone to give us more details.
Until the appointment of a new chief, the interim office will be assured by Deputy Head of Division, Oleg Caraman.
Vitalie Butucel occupied the post of head of the Transport Directorate in 2018, being appointed instead of Igor Gamreţchi, who was sentenced in 2017 to three years in prison with a suspension of the paid parking lot.
