Heavy showers cause pandemonium in two central districts of Moldova
Last night’s torrential rains caused havoc in more villages in central Moldova. Tens of households and the Prosecutor’s office of Străşeni were flooded.
The waters also destroyed agricultural plantations and gardens.
As the water reached almost one meter high, the people desperately think this could destroy their houses.
Rescuers used pumps to drive away the water from the people’s yards.
In some places, large portions of roads were covered in mud.
