Interim Mayor of the Capital, Silvia Radu, requested maximum mobilization, as meteorologists warn that heavy snow will fall during the night. According to the official, employees will start clearing the roads off snow starting from 3 am.

"The bad weather continues. Snow is expected to fall during the night and day. We need equipment. We will see the situation and then take adequate measures. Manage your teams, we called for back up. If after midnight snow will begin to fall, we will interfere at 03:00. This is a case when we require all employees" Silvia Radu said.

Interim Mayor of the Capital requested all private enterprises that own winter service vehicle to take actions.

Silvia Radu also urged for help to be offered to Mayors from suburbs in case they will request salt and sand: "If the suburbs request salt and sand, provide them with it. We have two difficult days ahead of us."
