Five persons from Bălţi were sentenced to heavy years behind bars. The suspects have kidnapped a 41-year-old man from a bar a year ago, taking him to the cemetery and making him dig out his own grave. Prosecutors have managed to prove their guilt. They will now spend the next 10 to 15 years in prison.
In December of last year, the victim was kidnapped from a bar from Bălți, forced into a car's trunk and taken to the city's cemetery, where the suspects forced him to dig his own grave. Later, the harassers abandoned him in the cemetery and left.
The man managed to reach the nearest gas station and requested help. Doctors have confirmed that the victim was harassed. The sentence can be appealed.
