New electricity tariffs were published in the Official Gazette after National Agency for Energy Regulatory raised tariffs for Gas Natural Fenosa and FEE Nord customers last week. 

People living in the north of country will pay 15% higher tariff and Gas Natural Fenosa price increased around 6%. 

For kilowatt hour,  Gas Natural Fenosa customers will pay 1.89 lei. Locals in the north will pay 2.23 lei. 

According to companies, the decision was taken due to depreciation of Moldovan currency and increased tariff of energy import. 

Government of Filip proposed to reduce Gas Natural Fenosa tariff 20 bani and decrease of 21 bani for people living in the north of Moldova.
