Orhei city was transformed in a ready winter fairy tale. Under the glances of thousands of people, the highest Christmas tree of the Country lit its lights. The Christmas tree is 27 meters long and it was decorated in traditional style with thousands of lights.

In the Vasile Lupu square, there was arranged a Christmas Fair with lots of fairy tales heroes and a zone for making photos.

The residents of the city are very glad about the atmosphere from their city:

"It is very beautiful. Nowhere else is like here. We thank Mr. Ilan Shor he is supporting us."

"The decorations are very original, I think that such a Christmas tree is unique. Thank you, very much, Ilan Shor."

The public lights were lit at the same time as the Christmas tree was. Vasile Lupu street was decorated with lights and holiday decorations, that were made specially for Orhei.

The Christmas trees from Mihai Eminescu street were decorated with hundred of flowing lights. At the inauguration ceremony, the mayor of Orhei, Ilan Shor waved to the citizens of the city.

"As a big family, we lit the lights on our Christmas tree. Our tree is the most beautiful from the whole country. I want to wish you beautiful holidays, health, luck and a magic Christmas", said Ilan Shor, the Mayor of Orhei.

The event started with a concert of Tharmis band.The main attraction, the traditional Christmas Fair was organized for the third year in Orhei. It will open its gate on December 23.
