A man from the northern town of Bălţi has been detained for 72 h by the anti-corruption officers for influence peddling. 

He asked for EUR500 from a person, guaranteeing to help in getting a driver license.

Now he faces 6 years of imprisonment and a fine of up to EUR10,000.
