Holiday atmosphere in State University of Medicine hostels. How do the most ingenious ideas look like?
Although they have much to learn during this period, the students of the "Nicolae Testemitanu" State University of Medicine from the Capital mobilized and created a holiday atmosphere in the hostels. The students took decorated a Christmas tree, arranged the hallways and the stairs. And the best were awarded.
Arranged in traditional style, the hostel No. 8 looks like a home and remembers the evenings spent with the parents and grandparents. The students put towels on the tables, and under the Christmas tree - an inherited carpet from the grandmother of one of the students. In order for the atmosphere to be even more distinctive, the students wore popular costumes.
"I used what I found in my grandmother's house. I worked for almost two weeks because I was preparing something every evening," said Ana Maria Ghilaş, sixth year student of the USMF Public Health Faculty Nicolae Testemiteanu.
The effort was first prized in the contest "The most beautiful hostel dressed in holiday clothes".
The second place was given to the hostel No. 17. They conquered the jury with an improvised Christmas tree with dozens of globules hanging in the air, but also with a dog manually made of thousands pieces of paper.
"We made the dogs for a week, we worked together with some seven girls and the boys also helped. It is a way of meditation, rest if you want," said Olga Melenciuc, second year student of General Medicine USMF Nicolae Testemiteanu.
The third place was obtained by the hostel No. 2. The students received money prizes, which they say will use to improve their living conditions in the hostel:
"We will buy something necessary."
"I am so glad that the students have done an enormous work. I think we will use the money to buy a water filtration plant."
The contest is at its sixth edition.
