A cyclist died on the spot after being hit by a car on Ungheni-Nisporeni route. The tragedy occurred last night, April 2nd, near Costuleni village, Ungheni district.

The victim was 22 years old, resident of Macaresti village.

The 35-year-old driver 35 was immediately tested and the alcohol test showed a negative result.

The case is being investigated by the Ungheni Police Inspectorate employees. If found guilty, the driver risks criminal case.
