How looks the New Office of National Radio Frequency Management Service. Filip: We will offer European certificates
The National Radio Frequency Management Service has a new headquarters, equipped with modern equipment that will enhance the quality of the services provided. It was inaugurated today and Prime Minister Pavel Filip was present at the event.
The new office of SNMFR has an equipment that will ensure the efficient use of radio spectrum resources and the verification of the quality of electronic services provided to the citizen. The Prime Minister appreciated the efficient management of the financial resources by the administration of the institution, which allowed the creation of the new conditions of activity.
"I think it was an efficient activity and we must admit that you are a strong team. For 5 years I have been at the head of the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications, I have worked very well and I want to tell you I am proud of what I am seen here today", said the head of the Executive.
For the first time in the Republic of Moldova was built the semi-anecoic Chamber, which is internationally validated. It has a laboratory which will be included in the international accreditation circuit in the near future and the technical documents issued by it will be recognized at European level.
At the same time, the new headquarters also has a central station of the National Radio Frequency Spectrum Radiation Monitoring System (SNRSFR), which allows the measurement and verification of the technical parameters of authorized radio transmitters and the detection of unauthorized radio sources.
At the same time, following the initiative of the Government, in order to improve the services provided by the cellular mobile telephony providers, the mobile system for measuring the quality parameters of the mobile cellular electronic communications services was implemented.
"I remember of our cooperation when we have developed the Frequency Management Program. In fact, effective spectrum management is nothing but a contribution to strengthening sovereignty and independence of the state. It is a very important dimension and of course, that it speaks about your ability, those involved in this field", said Pavel Filip.
In this context, the Prime Minister congratulated the employees of the institution on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the National Radio Frequency Management Service, convinced that SNMFR will continue to grow in line with the requirements of the information age and will increase continuously the quality of communications services.
SNMFR ensures the efficient use of the radio spectrum, guarantees the quality of the electronic communications services provided by the operators to the final consumers and is responsible for the certification of the radio-electronic equipment having access to the Republic of Moldova market.
