Hundred students of Technical University stay under quarantine after an infection case was confirmed

The dormitory no.1 of the Moldovan Technical University has been placed under lockdown after a student was diagnosed with COVID-19. Police officers are guarding the institution where 103 students and the staff of the dormitory are living.
According to the Rector of the university, Viorel Bostan, the infected patient left the dormitory on March 12 to get home. His case was confirmed yesterday.
Bostan stressed that the quarantine regime is valid until March 26. Meanwhile, the students receive food daily from the university and study online. None of them have showed symptoms of coronavirus so far.
The Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Viorica Dumbrăveanu, spoke about the coronavirus situation in Moldova this morning but didn't mention about the university's dormitory.
