Hundreds of Christians have gathered at the Nativity Cathedral to receive the Holy Fire. The delegation that is supposed to deliver it will soon land in Moldova, led by Bishop Vladimir, who is accompanied by another three priests.

Father Victor Pleșca from Grătiești explained how people must act when the Holy Fire will arrive.

"For Orthodox Christians the Holy Fire, brought from Jerusalem, brings with itself happiness for the whole orthodox community. This year, in Jerusalem's Church of the Holy Sepulchre, everyone is yelling: Our faith is true. In Jerusalem everyone is happy, there have gathered over 100 000 people from different countries, just to light their candles with the Holy Fire. This fire does not burn. I was amazed that fire lit by itself on a candle held by a child in Jerusalem. It proves that God exists. The fire is brought by Bishop Vladimir, then shared with all priests and then with all worshipers. All candles from Churches are extinguished and lit again with the holy fire. This procedure should be repeated by people at home" Priest Victor Pleșca explained.
