Over 800 kilos of pork without certificates of origin were discovered by police in an deposit of Telenesti town.
The goods, intended to be sold in the city markets, was confiscated. The total value of the meat was 32,000 lei.
PUBLIKA.MD recalls that last week, police seized a ton of pork in Floresti town, with the value of 100,000 lei.
Lately, police have stepped up activities to combat illegal trading of meat, in order for the lives and the health of consumers to not be endangered.
