Hungary donated Moldova a batch of medical masks and protective suits
An important batch of humanitarian aid from Hungary, which includes 100 thousand medical masks and 5 thousand protective suits arrived in Moldova today.
The aid is a response to the request of the Moldovan authorities to provide protective equipment to public health medical institutions in Moldova.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Minister Oleg Țulea met today with the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, who arrived in Chisinau during a working visit and the delivery of this important batch of aid humanitarian.
Oleg Țulea expressed gratitude to his Hungarian counterpart for the generous help, which comes in support of the efforts of the Moldovan authorities in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and will allow to cover the urgent needs of hospital medical institutions in Moldova.
During the meeting, the two Ministers noted with satisfaction the remarkable developments in bilateral relations and discussed concrete ways to make full use of the opportunities offered by the Strategic Partnership, signed on 12 March, during the visit of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Chisinau.
