'I AM MOLDOVA' campaign reaches Orhei town
Publika TV’s ‘I am Moldova’ campaign has reached the central district of Orhei this afternoon.
The town was founded in 1427 and has 35,000 inhabitants. Our colleagues have been met on Vasile Lupu square in the center of the town.
"The monument to Vasile Lupu is not by chance in the center of Orhei. Vasile Lupu was the Moldavian prince to build the first church in Orhei, the St. Dumitru church works even today. It’s a very beautiful church," said deputy mayor Valerian Cristea.
The locals have staged national dances, as the tricolor flag has been hoisted on Vasile Lupu square near the monument.
