'I AM MOLDOVA' reaches Leova district! Publika TV team met with hospitality
Publika TV’s campaign goes on journeying in the south. Today, the villages from Tomai, Leova district, have proudly said: ‘I am Moldova!’
As the old tradition goes, Publika TV’s team was met with bread and salt.
Tomai village was founded in 1694. It’s a village with rich wine-making traditions and people holding dear the national values. An example is the village museum.
"I gathered all the national values of the localities in this museum. It now has almost 3,000 exhibits. Some are as old as 200 years, telling on the crafts of our forefathers,” said museum founder Elena Miron.
The national banner, the symbol of Publika TV’s campaign, has been hoisted in front of the Culture House.
Another flag, Publika TV’s team is going to joist in Avdarma village of the Gagauz area, in the afternoon.
