Igor Dodon received letters of accreditation from seven ambassadors
During an official ceremony, Igor Dodon received the letters of accreditation from seven ambassadors:
- the Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic with residence in Bucharest, Mrs. Rana Mokaddem;
- the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco with residence in Bucharest, Mr. Hassan Abouyoub;
- the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium with residence in Bucharest, Mr. Philippe Benoit;
- the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation residing in Kiev, Mr Claude Wild;
- the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with residence in Bucharest, Mr. Roelof S. Van Ees;
- the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, residing in Kiev, Mr Ki-chang Kwon;
- the Ambassador of the State of Israel, residing in Jerusalem, Mr. Eliav Belotsercovsky.
He also discussed separately with each accredited ambassador about the prospects for economic, cultural cooperation and the opportunity to exploit the potential existing in all areas of common interest.
Igor Dodon exchanged views with foreign diplomats on the political and economic situation in Moldova, stressing that the new government is determined to carry out the reforms initiated in strict accordance with the commitments made previously. He also reiterated the intention of the Presidential Administration to further promote a balanced foreign policy with both Eastern and Western countries.
