After PSRM Republican Council meeting, the country's president Igor Dodon has declared that despite a series of negotiations, Socialist party couldn't reach a consensus with bloc ACUM. 

"You know that PSRM proposed the coalition with ACUM. Following our official and unofficial negotiations, we see that bloc ACUM still remain on the other positions. They are not ready to vote PSRM leader as Parliament Speaker, they are not willing to offer PSRM several ministers. 

Thus, we can't make alliance with bloc ACUM. The most probable scenario is that we will hold snap elections. Either alliance with bloc ACUM or early elections", said Igor Dodon.
