Increased police deployment demanded for elections and referendum. Thousands police officers to ensure public order on events
Over 8 200 police officers will ensure security and public order on day of parliamentary elections and consultative referendum on February 24th.
Police will take necessary measures to prevent violations and incidents on the events.
"Elections must be carried well, for this purpose, we will train 8244 police officers and 4000 employees to guard and ensure public order. 544 employees will join the operating groups and patrols in the area. Over 4000 employees will be trained to ensure public order in certain situation", said Marin Maxian, head of National Patrolled Inspectorate.
Police mission set off on January 25th. They ensured public order at roughly 5000 election meetings held by candidates.
